Ryoko is a compact portable WiFi hotspot device that creates a personal encrypted WiFi network using existing mobile networks in 130+ countries — without a physical SIM card, local data plan, or manual configuration. When powered on, it automatically connects to the strongest available network. Your phones, tablets, and laptops then connect to Ryoko just like any standard WiFi router.
No. Ryoko uses embedded eSIM technology — no physical SIM card required, no monthly contract, no subscription. You pay for the device and it provides international WiFi access without ongoing obligations. Fundamentally different from traditional hotspot devices that require carrier plans.
Ryoko supports up to 10 devices simultaneously — phones, tablets, laptops, e-readers, and other WiFi devices. All connected devices share the available bandwidth on a single encrypted personal network, making Ryoko Pro suitable for solo travellers with multiple devices or families and small groups sharing connectivity.
Ryoko provides up to 16 hours of continuous operation on a full charge. USB-C charging completes in 2 to 3 hours. An LED battery indicator shows remaining charge at all times so you can make informed decisions about when to recharge without uncertainty mid-journey.
Ryoko operates in 130+ countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and Africa. The device's auto-select technology optimises connectivity within available networks in each location, prioritising speed and signal stability. Coverage may vary in remote or rural areas depending on available carrier infrastructure.
Every Ryoko order is covered by a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. Not satisfied for any reason within 30 days? Return the device for a complete refund — no complex conditions, no interrogation of your reasons. A full refund is processed promptly through the purchase platform.
